Blenrep
by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)
Blenrep is a targeted antibody-drug conjugate for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma available through the Together with GSK patient assistance program.
What is Blenrep?
Blenrep (belantamab mafodotin) is a BCMA-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) approved for adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least four prior therapies including an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody, a proteasome inhibitor, and an immunomodulatory agent. It delivers a cytotoxic payload directly to myeloma cells that express the BCMA protein. Blenrep is administered as an intravenous infusion at certified healthcare facilities.
Important: Blenrep can cause serious eye problems (keratopathy), which can impair vision. Patients must have eye exams before each dose and enroll in the BLENREP REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) program before starting treatment. Prescribers, treatment centers, and patients must all be enrolled in REMS.
