Flovent
by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)
Flovent is an inhaled corticosteroid for asthma available through the GSK Patient Assistance Program in both HFA and Diskus formulations.
What is Flovent?
Flovent (fluticasone propionate) is an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) approved for the maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children as young as 4 years old. Available as Flovent HFA (metered-dose inhaler) and Flovent Diskus (dry powder inhaler), it reduces airway inflammation to prevent asthma symptoms. It is used regularly as a controller medication — not for sudden asthma attacks — and works best when used consistently every day.
