Novolin 70/30

by Novo Nordisk

Novolin 70/30 is a premixed human insulin available for free through Novo Nordisk's NovoCare patient assistance program.

Novolin 70/30 is a premixed human insulin containing 70% NPH (intermediate-acting) and 30% regular (short-acting) insulin. It is used to control blood sugar in adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who benefit from a combined basal-bolus effect in a single injection. Novolin 70/30 is typically injected twice daily — before breakfast and before dinner — and is an option for patients who prefer fewer daily injections.
