Ojjaara

by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)

Ojjaara is an oral JAK inhibitor for myelofibrosis with anemia available through the Together with GSK Oncology patient assistance program.

What is Ojjaara?

Ojjaara (momelotinib) is an oral JAK1/JAK2/ACVR1 inhibitor approved for the treatment of intermediate or high-risk myelofibrosis (MF), including primary MF or secondary MF following polycythemia vera or essential thrombocythemia, in adults with anemia. Myelofibrosis is a rare and serious bone marrow cancer that disrupts normal blood cell production. Unlike other JAK inhibitors, Ojjaara also inhibits ACVR1, which contributes to its ability to improve anemia — a major complication of myelofibrosis. It is taken once daily as an oral tablet.
