Otezla

Otezla (apremilast) is a drug used to treat plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. While it provides symptomatic relief, it is not a cure. In individuals suffering from plaque psoriasis, Otezla has been shown to be effective in reducing major plaques on the skin. It is also effective at inhibiting the immune system responses that lead to the inflammation at the root of psoriatic arthritis.

Otezla has also been shown to be effective in treating individuals suffering from oral ulcers due to Behcet’s disease, a rare disorder that causes inflammation of the blood vessels throughout the body.
