Trelegy Ellipta

by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)

Trelegy Ellipta is a once-daily triple-combination inhaler for COPD and asthma available through the GSK Patient Assistance Program.

What is Trelegy Ellipta?

Trelegy Ellipta (fluticasone furoate/umeclidinium/vilanterol) is a once-daily triple-combination inhaler containing an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), and a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA). It is approved for:

  • Maintenance treatment of COPD in adults (reducing exacerbations, improving airflow and symptoms)
  • Maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children 5 years and older not adequately controlled on ICS/LABA therapy

Trelegy Ellipta simplifies treatment by combining three separate mechanisms of action into a single daily inhaler, reducing pill burden and improving adherence.
