Trintellix (vortioxetine) is an antidepressant in a family of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs. This drug is used to treat major depressive disorders (MDD). Trintellix is most often taken once a day with or without food. In most cases, the dosage is increased slowly over time.
