Xultophy 100/3.6

by Novo Nordisk

Xultophy is a once-daily combination injection of basal insulin and a GLP-1 agonist, available for free through Novo Nordisk's NovoCare program.

Xultophy 100/3.6 (insulin degludec and liraglutide injection) is a once-daily combination product containing Tresiba (insulin degludec, a long-acting basal insulin) and Victoza (liraglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist). It is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is not adequately controlled on basal insulin or liraglutide alone. The combination allows patients to benefit from both mechanisms — background insulin coverage and GLP-1-driven glucose-dependent insulin release — in a single daily injection.
